Nomination guidelines

Please follow the below guidelines when sending in your nominations:

  • All nominations must be in English
  • Nomination forms should be completed in its entirety. This includes contact information for the nominee as well as the individual/company that is nominating. Incomplete forms might be disqualified
  • A company can send in as many nominations as they wish across the different categories
  • All nominations will have to be submitted through the online process. Any other format will not be entertained.
  • Supporting documents for the main nomination document can be provided only in Adobe Reader formats (.pdf) through online process.
  • All nominations should give precedence to fact-based information and should not hold marketing messages or branding information
  • For Readers’ Choice online voting categories, please summarise the company’s USP as per the category in 150 words
  • Details listed in the nominations should not be older than 18 months for purpose of consideration

Category guidelines

VENDOR CATEGORIES

  1. Best Partner Excellence Programme of the Year
  2. Cloud Vendor of the Year
  3. Peripherals and Accessories Vendor of the Year
  4. SMB Vendor of the Year
  5. Consumer Vendor of the Year
  6. Readers’ Choice Vendor of the year
  • All nominations will be sent to the judging panel
  • RME and/or the judges might verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.
  • SMB Vendor of the Year is open to those Vendors that cater to individuals or organisations with up to 500 IT users

Nominations for the said categories must include details on the following:

  • Detailed description of channel initiatives in the last 12-18 months.
  • Listing of solution/ product portfolio.
  • Description of channel programmes.
  • Channel expansion across the last 12-18 months (expansion and ROI).
  • Details on training & certification.
  • Details of service and support availability (includes marketing development and credit availability).

DISTRIBUTOR CATEGORIES

  1. Best Partner Excellence Programme of the Year
  2. Volume Distributor of the Year
  3. Cybersecurity Distributor of the Year
  4. Readers’ Choice Distributor of the year
  • All nominations will be sent to the judging panel.
  • RME and/or the judges might verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.

Nominations for the said categories must include details on the following:

  • Details on product focus / vendor portfolio with emphasis on specific technologies depending on the categories.
  • Availability and distribution services.
  • Pre and post-sales support.
  • Training and certification initiatives (across product categories or entire portfolio over the last 12-18 months).
  • Market development funds and credit availability.
  • Channel growth (ROI, vendor listing and reseller/ retailer channel expansion in the last 12-18 months).
  1. Cloud Distributor of the Year
  • All nominations will be sent to the judging panel.
  • RME and/or the judges might verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final
  • Valid for distributions that focus on cloud-based solutions and products.

Nominations must include details on the following:

  • Details on vendor portfolio
  • Details of the capabilities developed in-house as well as support for partners to profit from cloud business.
  • Details on channel expansion and growth (ROI, vendor listing and reseller/ retailer channel expansion in the last 12-18 months).
  • Availability and distribution services.
  • Pre and post-sales support.
  • Specialised training and certification initiatives (over the last 12-18 months).
  • Market development funds and credit availability.
  1. 10. Specialised Distributor of the Year
  • All nominations will be sent to the judging panel.
  • RME and/or the judges might verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final
  • or distributions that focus on just one product category (for instance: peripherals or printing). Not valid for those dealing across product lines.

Nominations must include details on the following:

  • Details on vendor portfolio.
  • Details on channel expansion and growth (ROI, vendor listing and reseller/ retailer channel expansion in the last 12-18 months).
  • Availability and distribution services.
  • Pre and post-sales support.
  • Specialised training and certification initiatives (over the last 12-18 months).
  • Market development funds and credit availability.
  1. Value-Added Distributor of the Year
  • All nominations will be sent to the judging panel.
  • RME and/or the judges might verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.

Nominations must include details on the following:

  • Details on product focus / vendor portfolio.
  • Availability and distribution services.
  • Detailed description of value-added initiatives.
  • Pre and post-sales support.
  • Training & certification initiatives (across product categories or entire portfolio over the last 12-18 months).
  • Market development funds and credit availability.
  • Channel growth (ROI, vendor listing and reseller/ retailer channel expansion in the last 12-18 months).
  1. Emerging Distributor of the Year
  2. KSA Distributor of the Year
  • All nominations will be sent to the judging panel.
  • ME and/or the judges might verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.

Nominations must include details on the following:

  • Details on product focus / vendor portfolio.
  • Availability and distribution services.
  • Detailed description of operations and commencement date for Emerging Distributor category. Only those distributors who are 3 years or less will be eligible for this category.
  • Detailed activities in KSA for KSA distributor of the year. KSA-headquartered players or those who have a strong business in the Kingdom are eligible for this category.
  • Pre and post-sales support.
  • Training & certification initiatives (across product categories or entire portfolio over the last 12-18 months).
  • Market development funds and credit availability.
  • Channel growth (ROI, vendor listing and reseller/ retailer channel expansion in the last 12-18 months).

RESELLER CATEGORIES

  1. Security Reseller of the Year
  2. Cloud Reseller of the Year
  3. System Integrator of the Year
  4. Solutions Provider of the Year
  5. Super Retailer of the Year
  6. E-tailer of the Year
  • All nominations will be sent to the judging panel.
  • RME and/or the judges might verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.

Nominations for the said categories must include details on the following:

  • Details on product focus / vendor portfolio.
  • Ability to deliver real benefits to the end user/ customer (present business cases, client testimonials).
  • Ability to meet client objectives in terms of ROI and investment protection (client testimonials).
  • Details on end user support & services (technical assistance, maintenance, delivery etc).
  • Training & certification initiatives (across product categories or entire portfolio over the last 12-18 months).
  • Geographical reach and coverage (expansion over the last 12-18 months, current area of operations).
  • The E-tailer of the Year category is eligible to both, pure play e-tailers and brick and mortar retailers with strong online sales.
  • Please mention the website or URL for the E-tailing category and include customer testimonials. The criteria will include online sales percentage, design and ease of use of the website, interactivity, use of technology, innovation, content, delivery time and services, payment methods, after-sales and customer services.
  1. Enterprise Reseller of the Year
  • All nominations will be sent to the judging panel.
  • RME and/or the judges might verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.
  • Open to those Resellers that cater to large enterprises with over 500 IT users.

Nominations must include details on the following:

  • Details on product focus / vendor portfolio.
  • Ability to deliver real benefits to the end user/ customer (present business cases, client testimonials).
  • Ability to meet client objectives in terms of ROI and investment protection (client testimonials).
  • Details on end user support & services (technical assistance, maintenance, delivery etc).
  • Training & certification initiatives (across product categories or entire portfolio over the last 12-18 months).
  1. SMB/Consumer Reseller of the Year
  • All nominations will be sent to the judging panel.
  • RME and/or the judges might verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.
  • Open to those Resellers that cater to individuals or organisations with up to 500 IT users.

Nominations must include details on the following:

  • Details on product focus / vendor portfolio
  • Ability to deliver real benefits to the end user/ customer (present business cases, client testimonials).
  • Ability to meet client objectives in terms of ROI and investment protection (client testimonials).
  • Details on end user support & services (technical assistance, maintenance, delivery etc).
  • Training & certification initiatives (across product categories or entire portfolio over the last 12-18 months).
  1. Professional Services Reseller of the Year
  • All nominations will be sent to the judging panel.
  • RME and/or the judges might verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.

Nominations must include details on the following:

  • Details on product focus / vendor portfolio
  • Ability to deliver real benefits to the end user/ customer through professional services (present business cases, client testimonials).
  • Ability to meet client objectives in terms of ROI and investment protection (client testimonials).
  • Details on end user support and services (technical assistance, maintenance, delivery etc).
  • Training & certification initiatives (across product categories or entire portfolio over the last 12-18 months).

PERSONALITY CATEGORIES

  1. Woman Executive of the year
  • All nominations will be evaluated by the judging panel and RME editorial team.
  • RME and/or the judges may verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has been nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.
  • The category is open to channel-facing female representatives across vendors, distributors, SIs and resellers.

Nominations must include details on the following:

  • Detailed description of role within the current organisation.
  • Details on career climb years in current organisation and roles at previous organisation.
  • Description of innovation or leadership initiatives for channel development and organisational growth.
  • Details of core competencies and acquired skills.
  1. Partner champion of the year
  • All nominations will be evaluated by judging panel and RME editorial team.
  • RME and/or the judges may verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.
  • Nominations are open to channel-facing representatives dealing with day-to-day operations of the channel across vendors, distributors, SIs and resellers (for instance, channel managers, channel development managers etc.).

Nominations must include details on the following:

  • Detailed description of role within current organisation
  • Roles at previous organisations
  • Description of innovation or leadership initiatives for channel development and organisational growth
  • Details of core competencies and acquired skills
  1. Outstanding Executive of the Year- IT Channel
  2. Outstanding Executive of the Year- Vendor
  • All nominations will be evaluated by the judging panel and RME editorial team.
  • RME and/or the judges might verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.
  • Nominations are open to senior executives across distributors, SIs and resellers for Outstanding Executive of the Year- IT channel.
  • Nominations are open to senior executives across vendors for Outstanding Executive of the Year - Vendor.

Nominations must include details on the following:

  • Detailed description of role within current organisation.
  • Details on career climb years in current organisation and roles at previous organisation (years in the channel and experience acquired).
  • Description of innovation or leadership initiatives for channel development and organisational growth.
  • Details of core competencies and acquired skills

EDITOR’S CHOICE (NON-VOTING)

  1. Editor’s Choice
  • All nominations will be evaluated by RME editorial team.
  • Editors may verify the information provided in the nomination form by calling the nominee or the individual/company that has nominated.
  • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by RME’s Editors will be considered final.

Nominations must include details on the following:

  • Detailed description of channel initiatives in last 12-18 months.
  • Listing of solution/ product portfolio.
  • Description of channel width and breadth.
  • Channel growth across the last 12-18 months (expansion and ROI).
  • Details on training & certification.
