UAE’s first astronaut will head to the International Space Station on 5th April 2019, and will return on 16th April, the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) has revealed.
Registrations for the UAE Astronaut Programme has reportedly received a total of 4,022 applications from Emiratis who are aspiring to become part of the nation’s first space programme.
Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre has announced that they will be hosting workshops for governmental nominees of the UAE Astronaut Programme in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on 27th and 28th March.
