Germany’s Economy Minister Peter Altmaier, in a recent interview, highlighted that the country’s automotive industry must invest heavily in electric car technology and develop battery production facilities in Europe to keep up with global competitors.
While initially it will only be available in major cities in the United States, Germany and a limited number of other Western European cities, the aim is to roll it out more widely.
