Gartner: Global IT spending to see marginal growth in 2017

According to Gartner, worldwide IT spending is expected to increase 1.4 percent in 2017. Despite this growth rate being down from the previous quarter’s forecast of 2.7 percent – due in part to the rising U.S. dollar – spending in this area is still predicted to reach $3.5 trillion in 2017.
