The UAE’s LinkedIn users rank as the most connected in the world, with a reported average of 211 connections per individual, the firm has reported.
The world’s largest professional network also announced that it had hit the 500 million members mark, with 22 million of those based in the Middle East and North Africa region.

A large majority of the UAE’s workforce has come from abroad. Earlier in January 2017, LinkedIn released the LinkedIn UAE Power Profiles list, a celebration of professionals who understood the importance of investing in their online personal brand and who succeeded in growing their employer’s brand by becoming its ambassadors.
LinkedIn opened their first office in the MENA region in 2012 in Dubai which serves as a regional headquarters to members and customers, and has over 3 million members in the UAE, and over 22 million members in the MENA region.
