Trio, a global IT service firm, has announced that it will launch two new verticals – Trio Business and Trio Education – at the GITEX GLOBAL 2024 exhibition in Dubai, as part of its latest growth plans for the Middle East.
Trio Business will focus on providing mobile device management (MDM) solutions to the increasing number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), while Trio Education will offer digital safeguarding tailored to the growing K-12 school sector across the region.
The global MDM market is valued at US$12.15 billion in 2024 and is set to reach US$16.33 billion by 2026 and US$85.37 billion by 2032, exhibiting a CAGR of 27.6%.
This figure highlights a major shift in work patterns and the continuing trend towards remote work, largely accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Recent statistics reveal that about 17.5% of the global workforce were working from home in 2023. In a developing market such as India, it is estimated that by 2025, around 60 to 90 million people will be working remotely.
Saied Alirezaei, Founder and CEO, Trio, says there is a mixed trend of both people returning to office as well as preferring hybrid work. “We did see a return-to-office trend, but it has not impacted the MDM market, as the trend also paved way for the BYOD policy adoption by companies,” says Alirezaei.
According to him, the regional SaaS market has picked up pace with the addition of regional data storage options in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, driving further demand for device management compliant with local data sovereignty rules.
“Corporate data being accessed outside the secure parameters of the office environment is the new normal. That said, IT managers are working around the clock to enforce data security and privacy through effective device management,” he says. “The market is bullish, and our focus on offering solutions across multiple OS with a simplified UI and core basic functionality makes it easier for SMBs to adopt it,” adds Alirezaei.
With K-12 schools being increasingly open to BYOD in the form of tablets and/or laptops, there is an increase in demand for professional vendors for managing and monitoring devices.
According to him, Trio will be showcasing its new solutions and holding demo sessions during the five-day event scheduled to start on October 14. The company is also focusing on healthcare, BFSI, transport and logistics, and retail sectors.
“GITEX has emerged as an excellent platform for enhancing product awareness among your target audience, engaging in meetings with key customers and channel partners. As a company, this is our first time at GITEX in Dubai and we are eagerly looking forward to the event,” he says.
Trio Business offers a comprehensive MDM solution for SMBs, simplifying device deployment, security, and monitoring. With features such as remote device lock and automated patch management, it focuses on enhancing productivity while ensuring security compliance.
Trio Education provides digital safeguarding for K-12 schools, monitoring devices to assure a safe and education-focused online learning environment through features like web and search filtering, and application and screen-time control.
