TP-Link Technologies has revealed it will host a partner event in Ras Al-Khaimah, where the company will introduce its Neffos X series smartphone range.
To be held on 20th February 2017, the company highlighted that the event will be held as part of the its plan to raise partner awareness around it mobile devices business. TP-Link will also showcase its Neffos X1 and X1 Max smartphones during the occasion.
According to the vendor, the introduction of the Neffos X series smartphone will help the company to develop this business with power retailers, independent retailers and channel partners in Ras Al-Khaimah.
Lucas Jiang, General Manager, TP-Link Middle East and Africa (MEA), said the unveiling of the Neffos X1 and X1 Max smartphones, which were also recently exhibited at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 in Las Vegas, will help partners to unlock more business opportunities in the retail sector because the handsets combine quality design and craftsmanship with high performance.
Jiang said since the launch of the Neffos smartphone portfolio, TP-Link has invested heavily in research and development (R&D) and business development initiatives to ensure that the superior technology in the devices is backed by a business model that helps partners to be profitable when they invest in this business. “We have already received positive feedback from partners in Dubai about the Neffos X series array,” he said. “By hosting a dedicated partner event in Ras Al-Khaimah, we a demonstrating our commitment to developing the mobile devices business across the UAE together with our distribution and channel partners.”
He added that TP-Link is looking to strengthen its position in the mobile devices space and hosting this event will give the company an opportunity to update partners on the roadmap, business development strategy and how the mobile offering fit with the connected lifestyle and smart home offerings. “We are excited to be officially introducing the Neffos X series array of smartphones,” he said. “We look forward to this event and hopefully we will be able to recruit new partners in Ras Al-Khaimah.”
TP-Link entered the mobile devices market in January 2016, a move that marked the company’s expansion from being a fixed networking and wireless equipment supplier of products that like routers, switches, range extenders and the likes to a consumer and lifestyle devices vendor.
