Neffos, a brand established by TP-Link, will exhibit for the first time at this year’s CES.
With “Close to you” as its brand slogan, Neffos aims to strive to “make the most human-oriented personal mobile device in the digital era.”
To showcase its vision of bringing the focus back to the smartphone’s original purpose of connecting people, Neffos will put on display its latest offerings — the X1 and the X1 Max — at CES. From 5th to 8th January 2017, the two devices will be shown at the TP-Link Booth (30526) in Tech East South Hall 3, Las Vegas Convention Center.
The recently launched Neffos X1 and X1 Max combine premium design and careful craftsmanship with uncompromised performance and are in line with the brand’s mission. They offer the best technology available to those who want to build connections and stay connected wherever they are.
Both phones are already available in Cloudy Gray and Sunrise Gold variants.
TP-Link underlined that the metal unibody of the Neffos X1 and X1 Max have been refined to give customers the best user experience. The symmetrical design makes for a sensible layout for the mic hole, camera, and fingerprint sensor, while also allowing the latter to be located where one’s index finger naturally falls on the device. The curves on the back, meanwhile, strike the perfect balance between style and function and allow for a better grip and a more ergonomic fit in the hand.
A high screen-to-body ratio of 76 percent — higher than that of the Apple iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 — is achieved by keeping the bezels along the sides thin and reducing the length of the handset.
The narrow metal frame has been constructed using advanced stamping techniques and measures 7.85mm thick, although its visual thickness is just 2.75mm, one of the narrowest in the industry.
The IPS display is gorgeous at 5 inches for the X1 and 5.5 inches for the X1 Max.
A sheet of 2.5D curved-edge glass protects the panel from bumps and knocks and makes swiping through screens and navigating the interface feel natural.
The Neffos X1 and X1 Max are indeed perfect for playing graphics-rich games and watching TV shows and movies on the go.
