StarLink hosted its signature channel event – StarLink Partner Summit on 17th February at Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
The event received an overwhelming response from 300 plus channel partners across the META region, who convened to experience StarLink’s strong partnership, making this event a huge success.
Starlink Partner Summit 2020 brought together the top-level management, sales and technical teams from partners, along with vendors that formed an ideal platform for networking, sharing innovative ideas, building relationships, reviewing technology updates and taking valuable tips on how to develop new skills to transform and own one’s competitive advantage.
Thought leaders from participating vendors – Juniper, Imperva, Riverbed, LinkShadow, Nutanix and Forcepoint, presented their latest solutions offering and channel programmes to enable partners drive more business opportunities and expand their market share. Also embellishing the event were vendors such as Palo Alto Networks, FireEye, LogRhythm and Nozomi Networks with their participation as the Technology Hub partners.
As 2020 witnessed new and innovative technology partnerships, one of the major highlights of the partner summit was the symbolic signing ceremony with Juniper and Imperva – two new strategic partnerships at the beginning of the year, with more to follow.
Yet another highlight of the event that drew tech-savvy professionals was the Technology Hub where demos, product-related information, use cases and technical know-how was imparted by the vendor experts to the channel partners.
Mahmoud Nimer, co-founder and general manager, StarLink said that “Over the past couple of years, StarLink has empowered its stakeholders with various strategic initiatives. Partners being the engine of the distribution business, it is crucial to equip them with new gears to grow and become profitable. The StarLink Choice Programme, StarLink Marketplace and StarLink Capital has gained popularity in its unique way. This year, along with our other initiatives we have launched, ‘StarLink Value Plus’ to focus on unexploited business opportunities by diversifying our vertical focus; we have invested heavily in this initiative and have a dedicated team of account managers to work with the partners to tap into these whitespace opportunities.”
Nidal Othman, co-founder and managing director, StarLink said, “StarLink Partner Summit is a great platform for partners to align with StarLink and vendor teams and understand what technologies, solutions and trends are shaping customer needs and adopt an integrated solutions approach.”
“The needs of our stakeholders inspire every initiative we design and the partner community being the gateway to our business, we intend to nurture and build on this relationship through various unique initiatives,” Othman added.
The VAD also took this opportunity to recognise its 2019 channel champions for their commitment to mutual business growth and unparalleled support towards StarLink and their customers.
