Value added distributor, Spectrami in association with Actifio, a manufacturer of next generation data management solutions have rolled out the regional chapter for Actifio’s global partner community program and launched the Actifio Founder’s Club in the Middle East region.
The main objective for the Actifio Founder’s Club is to reward resellers for their early adoption and efforts to Actifio solutions into the market. The Club lays a strong business foundation for partners to avail benefits arising from the opportunities that Actifio’s ground breaking Protection and Availability Storage (PAS) platform presents in the region, it was reported.
Actifio intends to maintain the exclusivity of the club by hand picking the partners who are invited to join, the company said.
The Founder’s Club concept seamlessly integrates with Actifio’s larger Partner Program, it was reported.
Community exchange and direct access to Actifio’s high level regional and corporate executives enables members of the Founder’s Club to gain critical market insights and helps them stay ahead of the learning curve. The early exposure and in depth understanding of the solution will create a competitive angle for the members and Actifio will continue to provide special attention and support to the members of the Founder’s Club, the company said.
Greg Scorziello, GM, EMEA, Andy Slater, sales director and Ann Thueland, director, marketing EMEA represented key executives from Actifio who were present at the launch ceremony. In addition, representatives of Spectrami present at the occasion included Anand Choudha, MD and Sarfaraz Kazi, director-technical.

The launch witnessed a high turnout of channel partners hailing from various parts of the Middle East region. During the launch ceremony, both, Spectrami and Actifio facilitated all the member partners of the Founder’s Club which included ISIT, Wipro, Paladion Networks, STME, Unicorp Technology, Nasma Telecommunications, isyx Technologies among others.
Spectrami is the authorised distributor for Actifio across the Middle East covering countries including the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait among others.
