Injazat Data Systems signs agreement with Microsoft

Injazat Data Systems has signed a Service Provider Licensing Agreement with Microsoft Gulf, which will enable Injazat to provide an expanded range of Software -plus- Services offerings including E-email, Corporate Instant Messaging, Workspace Collaboration and Customer Relationship Management.

The expanded line of services will be released to the market in stages within the next 12 months, as Injazat revealed that the recent opening of the Injazat Premier Datacentre at Mohamed bin Zayed City will serve as a key factor in the seamless implementation of the newly incorporated services. The partnership will leverage Microsoft’s best-in-class software development capability and Injazat’s proven track record as a world-class provider of IT services in the UAE and beyond.

Injazat Data Systems is a joint venture between Mubadala Development Co. and EDS, an HP company with 46 years of global expertise in the IT managed services industry. Injazat holds more than 50 per cent of the UAE’s IT outsourcing market and will further raise the level of the Middle East’s managed IT services sector through its Tier IV design certified data centre, the first facility of its kind in the region.
