The Paris-headquartered company is eyeing IT distributors, resellers and power retailers in the MENA region. The move to appoint distributors and resellers in the MENA market is in line with the vendor’s plan to grow its footprint in this geography.
Audrey Martin, GM at PackshotCreator, says the company has already identified the UAE, KSA, Jordan and Egypt as markets where it would like to have partners on the ground initially. Martin says PackshotCreator’s plan is to have a partner in each country in the MENA region by mid next year. “We would like to have several partners on the ground by end of this year in the initial phase of the recruitment drive,” she says.
Martin explains that aside from the partner enrolment drive, PackshotCreator is also planning to open a regional office that will have its base in Dubai in the first half of 2011. “We believe that having regional presence in the Middle East will help us to raise visibility and brand in the channel,” she says. “This will also enable us to provide the better channel support to our partners and their customers.”
She says the PackshotCreator partner programmed has been tiered to include Occassional, Standard and Certified level with each status offering a range of benefits. “We are hoping to recruit as many Certified partners because this tier offers the widest range of benefits,” she says. “In addition to making margins of between 30 and 35%, Certified partners will receive marketing support where they jointly develop marketing plans and campaigns with PackshotCreator.”
Martin says PackshotCreator will be supporting all partners that that it brings on board in the MENA region with training.
Digital photographic solutions vendor PackshotCreator is looking to recruit channel partners in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The vendor states that depending on the market size in each country in the MENA region, PackshotCreator will adopt a single or two-tier channel model.
