Omnia and Huawei are showcasing one of their innovative bank branch transformation solutions at the Huawei stand in Zabeel Hall during GITEX 2017. The solution offers seamless banking and customer-centric initiatives. Omnia Pay is hosting live demonstrations at GITEX highlighting the solutions’ advantages.
Huawei said its innovative video conferencing capabilities, along with the widest screen available in the marketplace, make the solution attractive and easy to use for the end user.
The Omnia Pay solution offers the ability for customers to perform 90 percent of the transactions and interactions usually conducted within the branch. Research shows that the enhanced customer service solution also increases employee productivity within banks.
Maseeh Ahmed, CEO, Omnia Pay, said, “The digitisation of banks is a response to enhancing the customer experience. There is also a great need for the banks to balance customer service with increasing operational efficiency. Banks are under pressure to manage their branch costs, which account for around 45 percent of operating expenses. Our partnership with Huawei will enable us to provide robust digital solutions to some of the growing demand from banking customers.”
Alaa ElShimy, managing director and vice president, Huawei Enterprise Middle East, said, “We are pleased to partner with Omnia Pay. Our joint offering provides an extension of the omni-channel capability that can work with mobile, laptop, Internet, or SmartTV. We at Huawei are committed to building strategic partnerships with key local players, and our relationship with Omnia Pay will help us to better deliver innovative solutions for our customers. The new unified solution will also contribute to the expanding digitalization taking place throughout the region, something Huawei wants to continue to be a driver for.”
Omnia has recently announced several industry certifications with key payment service providers including Visa and Mastercard, which recognises the capabilities of its customer-centric payment solutions.
