As IT becomes the driver of digital change in the Middle East, the region’s chief information officers have the opportunity to put themselves at the core of business decision-making.

The future of business is under construction everywhere, with IT innovation as its chief architect. The tech industry is exploding with new products and services in social collaboration tools, mobility, predictive analytics and the cloud. The “customer experience” — once the sole province of marketing and sales — nowadays belongs to IT leaders, as well.

But most important of all is the state of the C-suite. Those companies with the most strongly aligned, collaborative senior executives will be the ones outpacing their rivals in the race to digitize business. How can IT organisations do a better job of innovating and driving business transformation? How can CIOs unify their C-suites around digital strategies that assure greater success?

“Organisations across the region are now quickly coming to terms with the fact that if they do not begin to take steps to digitally transform, they will struggle to stay relevant,” said Natasha Pendleton, publishing director, CPI Media Group. “With IT often at the core of these digital strategies, it is only right that the forward-thinking CIOs leading these journeys are recognised and acknowledged in this way.”

The CIO 100 Awards 2018 celebrates leaders who are grabbing this opportunity with both hands, and constantly striving for innovative practices. Winners will gather at Jumeirah Beach Hotel on Monday, 29th January 2018 to receive their awards at the annual CIO 100 Symposium & Awards Ceremony, and will also be featured in the February 2018 issue of CNME magazine.

The CIO 100 honorees will be chosen by the CNME editorial team based on information submitted in an online application. Click here to nominate now!
