The current challenging economic climate has caused many companies to re-assess their priorities when it comes to implementing IT projects. Now, more than ever, organisations are looking to make savings – both in terms of overall IT spend and in business efficiency. We believe networking can change the way you do business. We know there are many of you who are using network technology in innovative and effective ways to cut costs and further corporate goals.
We began publishing Network World Middle East nearly eleven years ago to chronicle innovative applications of network products and services. Our mission was to show how corporations, governments, universities and other users have profited from network technology.
You have kept us busy doing that. Every month, our pages are filled with stories about users and their networking strategies. We’ve reported on the ways enterprises in the Midddle East have employed network technology to cut costs, offer new products and services, and respond to changing market forces.
We want to hear your stories, to give you a chance to share your experiences with other Network World Middle East readers.
Actually, we want to do more than that. What we're really after is a chance to honor you for a job well done. That's why we're holding our first annual Network World Middle East awards.
We want to put the spotlight on users that are doing what others are only talking about- using networking as a competitive weapon. If you've recently finished or are implementing a network project of which you're particularly proud, why don't you consider nominating for our awards?
Nominating is easy. Head directly to http://www.cpilive.net/events/networkworldmeawards/Default.aspx
We'll be featuring this year's winning networks in our special issue, coming June. And we'll be honoring the people responsible for the projects at an awards ceremony on 27th April in Dubai.
We are also paying tribute to the vendors that offer leading-edge technology products or services that provide measurable payback.
So enter our 2010 Network World Middle East awards for a chance to get your share of the glory.
