In the GCC electronics community, announcements of new distributorships are often euphemistic for the withdrawal of local sales and support operations. This is not the case with the new distribution deal between Fluke Networks and Synergix International LLC. Through this deal Fluke Networks is expanding their existing market through a dedicated sales channel under Synergix International directives.
Last month Synergix International, one of UAE’s premier test equipment distributors, became the Master distributor for the Fluke Networks’ “Infrastructure Data-communication Cable Installer Test and Measurement ” range of products throughout Middle East and North Africa. This is an emerging market for Fluke Networks internationally, with the company mainly focused on providing Performance Management solutions within the region.
The distribution deal is part of Fluke Network’s strategy to get closer to its increasing customer base. Fluke Networks market development and brand awareness operations remain unchanged. Synergix International will provide extended regional face-to-face channel partner contact, increased marketing and local stocking of quick turn-around products such as Cable Analyzers, certifiers and verifiers, and related accessories. Other value added services provided by Synergix International are the calibration of DTX cable analyzers, as well as existing as a certified training and educational centre for FlukeNetworks.
With Synergix International sales force operating through a channel partnership program, customers will have better access to Fluke Network’s products within each region of the MENA territory. Synergix International’s involvement in the Fluke Networks sales channel will give Fluke Networks the
opportunity to triple the number of customer-facing sales and support staff available to support its customer base, and to provide extended warranties to its customers.
Werner Heeren, EEMEA Regional Sales Director of Fluke Networks, and Mike Kazemian, the Managing Director of Synergix International have jointly stated that this is a positive step forward for both companies, and more importantly for MENA Networks customers.
