Software Magazine has ranked global provider of unified IP business communications solutions, Interactive Intelligence Group, among the world’s 500 largest software and service providers.

Interactive Intelligence was ranked 208th this year based on 2011 corporate revenues of $209.5 million, which was an increase of 26 percent over 2010.

“This year’s Software 500 marks our 12th consecutive year on the list with an improvement over last year of 11 spots from 219th,” said Interactive Intelligence founder and CEO, Dr. Donald E. Brown.

Interactive Intelligence develops on-premises and cloud-based IP communications software for contact centre automation, unified communications, and business process automation. The company released its standards-based all-in-one software in 1997 to eliminate the cost and complexity introduced by multipoint vendors.
