Fortinet has announced the results of International Data Corporation’s (IDC) latest Worldwide Quarterly Security Appliance Tracker.
The cybersecurity firm noted that Q2 2016 and data from the report are testimony to its continued leadership within the security industry by consistently shipping more security devices than any other vendor.
Fortinet has shipped over 2.7 Million security appliances since its founding. The report highlighted that the company has seen Q2 2016 appliance shipments increase by 41 percent year-over-year, earning 25 percent market share in the second quarter of 2016. A deeper look into the IDC data also showed that Fortinet has been gaining market share across enterprise, mid-sized and SMB market segments.
