HTC has termed the leaked ‘non-final artwork’ and the leaked pictures of its HTC One Max as fake.
Jeff Gordon, HTC’s senior global online communications manager, denied the pictures were real.
The new device is to feature a 5.9-inch display with 1920×1080 resolution, the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, which clocks in at 2.3GHz and offers 2GB RAM, a 4-ultrapixel camera, Boomsound dual front-facing stereo speakers, and a 3,3000 mAh non-removable Li-poly battery, according to report.
The new information corroborates previous rumours that claimed the smartphone has the same design elements as the original One. The One Max is expected to be about 9.4 mm thin and run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with the HTC Sense 5.5 UI.
There are speculations the smartphone may go official at the forthcoming IFA event in Berlin.
