Gulf Business Machines today used its inaugural Enterprise Mobility event in Doha to highlight how companies and governments can leverage smart phones and tablets.
GBM discussed the increasing need for flexible and secure mobile solutions and infrastructure to conduct transactions over a variety of smart devices.
GBM hosted more than 100 customers at the W Hotel in Doha to discuss how to build, develop and integrate secure mobile applications into IT infrastructure and increase their return on investment.
Soubhi Chebib, General Manager, GBM Qatar, said at the event, “The aim of the seminar was to share our experience, information and insights on how organisations can build mobile infrastructure and leverage the proliferation and the convenience of smart phones and tablets to conduct every day business in a secure manner.

The seminar also discussed the delivery and integration of mobility infrastructure for smartphones and tablets, including how to protect sensitive data with the proper IT security measures.
Global and regional experts from IBM illustrated how to implement a cross-platform support strategy, and how to easily manage a mobile infrastructure.
