The second edition of GITEX Shopper Spring, the consumer electronics retail show, is running at Dubai World Trade Centre till 26th April.
Known for its steep bargains and retail deals on electronic products and gadgets, the show has introduced new aspects such as the experience zone where visitors can try the product before they make the purchase. Experts will be on hand to help consumers learn about the latest products and upgrades and offer advice on what’s best and why.
Taking place under one roof in Sheikh Saeed Halls 1, 2 and 3, GITEX Shopper Spring 2014 offers the best bargains from the region’s power retailers such as Sharaf DG, Emax, E-City, Jacky’s Electronics and brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Nokia and Samsung. Most of these brands will be displaying its latest products, bundling it with enticing offers.
Nokia is showcasing its latest range of smartphones from Asha, Lumia and the recently launched Nokia X while Lenovo, the global PC brand will display its latest products in the tablet, PC and smartphone ranges such as Vibe Z, Vibe X, Yoga 2 Pro, A370, Flex 14, Yoga Tablet and Miix 2.
“We see this year’s GITEX Shopper Spring as being the year of the smartphone. With major launches happening from Samsung with the Galaxy S5, HTC with the One M8, Nokia with the Android-based X-series devices and Lenovo with the new Vibe X/Z, we expect customers to be spoilt for choice. With tickets priced at AED 15/ per person, the organisers expect footfall to increase this year, especially with the metro only being few minutes away from the venue.
