Ericsson announced its latest business updates, new product acquisitions and releases at the company’s annual Middle East Channel Partner Conference held in Istanbul, Turkey, this week. The event was in an effort to expand its engagement with industry leaders and show appreciation to the company’s key alliances.
During the two-day conference, that brought together channel partners from around the region, the company shared the latest innovation in Ericsson’s product portfolio, recognising achievements and successes while encouraging networking and fostering knowledge transfer between peers in the industry.
The Ericsson Channel Partner of the Year 2013 Award was presented to Communications Development Co. (CDC) during a gala dinner event on day one of the conference.
Mansura Ebrahim, Head of Indirect Channels at Ericsson Region Middle East, said, “The ICT industry can transform a wide range of industries, and our channel partners are crucial in tapping into the opportunities the region presents. Attendees at the event were invited to participate in a complimentary Ericsson Technical Certification Programme (ETCP) Microwave Transmission Associate Certification session, giving them measurable recognition and industry standard skills, within diverse areas of technical competence, according to the company.
