Value-added distributor (VAD) DVCOM Technology and 2N, a subsidiary of the Axis Group and leading provider of intercoms systems, elevator systems, access control, IP audio systems, M2M and telecommunications solutions, have recently held the 2N Partner Event 2017 in Dubai.
According to the VAD, which distributes products, solutions and services from vendors including Digium, DrayTek, Yealink, Yeastar, 2N and many others, the 2N Partner Meet is an important platform where both 2N and DVCOM meet channel partners to update them on the product roadmap and outline the channel strategy for the new calendar year.
Renjan George, Managing Director, DVCOM Technology, said that apart from the event being an important networking platform, the significance of updating channel partners on product and technology roadmaps, and outlining the channel strategy at the start of the year, gives them the necessary tools to go after opportunities that are emerging in the market. “IP intercoms, IP audio systems, access control and telecommunications solutions bring efficiencies and productivity to the workplace,” he said. “By bringing together UAE-based channel partners, the event created better opportunities for networking, partner enablement and provided insight into 2N’s product portfolio and 2017 channel strategy for the region.”
George added that 2N has committed and prioritised business growth in the Middle East in 2017 and channel partners taking its solutions to market will benefit from the vendor’s enhanced focus. “We believe that 2N has made the right decision to reinforce its product, solutions and channel focus in the Middle East,” he said. “A recent report by analyst firm Frost & Sullivan predicted that the physical security market in the Middle East will grow from $4 billion in 2016 to $10 billion by 2020.”
He also added that the physical security growth will also see access control and IP intercoms solutions growing. “For channel partners reselling 2N products, time to prepare for growth is now,” he said. “2N have done a great job in meeting with our partners to reinforce their commitment to the market.”
Ing Pavel Chrudimsky, Regional Sales Director, 2N, said, “We are delighted to have held this partner meet, where we have been able to outline our roadmap and commitment to growing and developing the channel business in the Middle East.”
Chrudimsky said 2N remains committed to the Middle East market and in 2017, the company’s main focus will be on expanding local presence across the region. “We will work closely with channel partners and support DVCOM’s efforts in equipping resellers with the right tools and resources to go after opportunities in the market,” he said.
Attendees engaged in a series of presentations, looking at technical and sales aspects of 2N’s IT solutions for partners in the Middle East.
