DarkMatter has appointed Eddie Schwartz as the firm’s Executive Vice President of Cyber Services. In his new role, Eddie will lead the activities of DarkMatter’s following business units: governance, risk and compliance; cyber network defence; test & validation labs; managed security services; cyber security education; Public Key Infrastructure, and infrastructure & systems integration.
Eddie’s impressive career in cyber security spans over 25 years, and has seen him hold a number of senior leadership positions including as Global Leader for Cyber Security Solutions at Verizon, Chief Security Officer for RSA, Co-Founder and CSO of NetWitness (acquired by EMC), EVP/CTO of ManTech, GM of Global Integrity (acquired by INS), SVP of Operations of Guardent (acquired by VeriSign), and as VP/CISO of Nationwide Insurance.

Eddie has served on the Board of Advisors for numerous start-ups, including Observable Networks and My Digital Shield, and is currently a member of the International Board of Directors of ISACA and Chairman of ISACA’s Global Cyber security Taskforce.
