D-Link Corporation has announced that it has entered into an exclusive business alliance with GajShield, a network security solutions provider for corporates.
According to the vendor, opportunities are opening up for channel partners in the UC space in the region, it will now offer high-end network security solutions to meet the protection requirements of modern enterprises’ mission critical infrastructure and further strengthen security on its product portfolio.
The networking vendor said in this rapidly evolving technology arena, Internet security remains a major concern for most corporates and enterprises, as IT networks determine the operational efficiency and well being of any business set-up.
Sakkeer Hussain, director, Sales and Marketing, D-Link Middle East and Africa (MEA), said with this business alliance with GajShield, the firm will now be offering end-to-end network solutions ranging from 25 user unified threat management (UTM) security to 10,000 user UTM to SOHO, SMB and enterprise segment.
Hussain said Gajshield UTM carries context-based network data leakage prevention (DLP), patent pending technology, BYOD security and enterprise cloud security, which are major market differentiators. “Over the years, D-Link has made some significant business alliances that have amplified our enterprise and SMB product portfolio,” he said.
Hussain added that the association with GajShield is another in the series of strategic tie-ups deliberated towards expanding the company’s enterprise product portfolio and reinforcing presence in the network security segment. “D-Link’s robust business infrastructure and holistic approach along with GajShield’s domain expertise in network security will benefit and empower organisations in the SMB and enterprise sector in the Middle East and Africa,” he said.
GajShield is headquartered in Mumbai, India and its products are used by large and medium organisations worldwide. It also provides solutions for context-based data leak prevention, cloud security, BYOD security and application next generation firewall.
