D-Link Corporation has announced that it is participating at this year’s GITEX Technology Week to showcase a range of new products including the newly launched OMNA Apple HomeKit camera.
According to the vendor, being at the 37th edition of GITEX Technology Week is not only about promoting new products to channel partners and end-users that visit the show but a great platform to meet and hear from potential customers on some of their requirements for home, SOHO and SMB networking.
The vendor said that since its first appearance at GITEX in 1997, the exhibition has always been a venue for D-Link to interact with end-customers and channel partners to share new ideas, solutions and get a first-hand feedback from them.
Sakkeer Hussain, director, Sales and Marketing, D-Link Middle East and Africa (MEA), said “As was the case last year, in 2017 we will have two dedicated stands one for the consumer range of products and the other business and commercial portfolio,” he said.
D-Link will be showcasing its latest consumer and business products at GITEX 2017, Za’abeel Hall, stands ZL-B1 and stands ZL-D6 respectively.
“On the business solutions stand, D-Link will be showcasing the 4K2k resolution/60frames per second HD cameras, 10G switch range, IP Telephony, Structured Cabling Solutions and our alliance security and industrial networking solutions for niche verticals such as the transport, oil and gas industry from MOXA and Gajshield,” he said.
He added that D-Link will also present a new range of D-Link Value IP cameras and NVRs, as part of its cost-effective high-performance IP surveillance solutions.
“Controller-based indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi access points that cater to different business segments are also part of our new business product portfolio that will be promoted at this year’s show,” he said.
Hussain explained that the consumer solutions stand will provide visitors with a hands-on experience of the latest range of high-speed Wi-Fi routers, newest additions of cloud products, the COVR WiFi system, 4G/LTE fixed and portable routers, home automation devices and cloud-enabled IP cameras, including the latest Omna Apple HomeKit surveillance camera.
He reiterated that it’s important for channel partners to see new products first hand as this will help them to understand new market trends and the future IT landscape.
