Cisco announced it is has been awarded Best CSR Partner at Dubai Women’s College awards ceremony. The annual ceremony, held under the patronage of HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister for Higher Education and Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology, took place at Dubai Women’s College.

Through the Cisco Networking Academy Programme, we aim to develop the right technical expertise, particularly a highly skilled workforce that support the demands of the ICT industry and serve as a catalyst for socio-economic development in the region.”
Cisco’s award was in recognition of its long-term partnership with Higher Colleges of Technology and the launch of Cisco Networking Academy courses throughout campuses of Higher Colleges of Technology including Dubai Women’s College. The courses include Cisco-ITE, Cisco Certified Network Associate and Cisco Certified Network Professional as well as seminars conducted by Cisco specialists and field visits. Cisco Networking Academy is a global education programme that teaches students how to design, build, troubleshoot and secure computer networks for increased access to career and economic opportunities in communities around the world.
