Access and privileged identity management provider Centrify has appointed StarLink as its value-added distributor (VAD) for the Middle East region. According to the terms of the agreement, StarLink will promote and distribute Centrify Identity Services through its extensive network of channel partners and solution providers across the Middle East.
“StarLink is a reputed security specialist VAD with an impressive track record and large network of customers and channel partners across the region. Having already worked with StarLink in Africa and seeing the value they brought to our business there, we felt they would be a perfect partner for Centrify in the Middle East as well,” said Kamel Heus, regional manager Middle East and Africa, Centrify.
He added that the distributor boasts an extensive portfolio of security solutions from global vendors, a solid channel network, years of competency, expertise and market knowledge to grow its business, market share and reach across the regional markets.
“We are confident this partnership will help provide Centrify a momentum to accelerate our growth in the region and we look forward to working closely with StarLink’s team to offer our channel partners strong support to meet end-user vulnerabilities and reduce their pain points,” he said.
Mahmoud Nimer, general manager, StarLink said, “Top of the market, privileged identity management solutions from Centrify are becoming increasingly relevant in the region as medium and large enterprises begin to incorporate hybrid cloud infrastructures. With the Middle East countries being increasingly targeted by global threat actors, the fundamental challenges CSOs in the region face today, is securing identity credentials and implementing privileged access without reducing corporate productivity. We strongly believe that Centrify’s portfolio of identity solutions and services can be effectively and efficiently incorporated by our specialised channel partners working in this area of demand.”
StarLink will spearhead sales, professional services and support for Centrify’s solutions through its channel partners across the Middle East. Through regular marketing and channel development activities, the distributor aims to strengthen and expand the vendor’s channel partner network, sales and market share in the region.
The distributor has recently signed a partnership with FireMon, a global player in network security policy management, to deliver its solutions across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa
