Careem, the Dubai-based private ride-hailing app, has announced that all of its business class cars are now equipped with free Wi-Fi available for passengers to use.
Customers using Careem’s business car service will be able to connect to Wi-Fi in the car via a passcode from the captain enabling them to catch up with emails, surf the internet or check in with social media while they are being chauffer driven in comfort and style.
The free Wi-Fi is part of Careem’s ongoing commitment to enhancing customer experience and helping UAE residents enjoy hassle free journeys. Other recent benefits have included the Dubai Taxi booking option on the Careem app and allowing Emirates Skywards customers to earn miles on their Careem trips.
The company has also revealed some other top Careem ‘hacks’ to help make journeys that little bit easier and more enjoyable.

- Save your favourite spots – It can take that little bit longer when searching for the drop off in the Careem app, so save time by saving regular locations or your favourite Dubai hotspots.
- Discover the UAE – Want to discover a beautiful hotel in Ajman? Take a trip to the stunning Jebel Jais? Customers may not want to rent a car, deal with the traffic and most of all try to locate it. Careem can get their customers there safe, sound and hassle free, knowing exactly where to go.
- Deal with IKEA – Planning on visiting IKEA on a Friday? Don’t stress. Go early to avoid the queues and book a Careem Max to help take your new purchases home.
- Load up your Careem – Get out of the city and get some fresh air at some amazing places such as Al Qudra bike track. Careem Max cars can take customers and their bikes together on board.
- School’s Out – Easter is around the corner and families are more than likely going on vacation. To make the trip to the airport hassle free, book a Careem Kids car which offers a child car seat.
- Welcome home from Careem – The queues can be long at the airport for a regular taxi, so avoid hanging around and book a Careem. If you book in advance the driver will track your flight details so can adjust the timings if your flight is delayed.
- Lost and found – Careem has a room full of unclaimed items that are brought safely back by their Captains.
