AWAL IT Services, the IT services provider, recently participated in the Water Desalination Conference in Arab Countries (ARWADEX) 2012 as a technical sponsor, being held under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The event was organised by the Ministry of Electricity and Water and the General Organisation of Sea Water Desalination and was held from April 8 to 11, 2012 at the King Faisal Conference hall, Riyadh Intercontinental Hotel.
ARWADEX 2012 focused on the latest techniques of desalination in Arab countries and served as a platform to exchange experiences of countries, regional and global entities and organisations in all operational, economic and environmental aspects of water desalination.
The event also featured workshops on the role of solar energy in the environmental and desalination fields.
