Avnet Technology Solutions today announced an extended distribution agreement with QLogic, which will involve it offering QLogic’s 10Gb Ethernet, fibre channel and converged networking solutions throughout the MEA region.
“This agreement emphasises our commitment to the growing 10Gb Ethernet and converged networking markets and significantly strengthens our fibre channel offerings for storage networking,” said Henry Godwin, regional managing director at Avnet Technology Solutions MEA.
“With a broad selection of field-proven, high performance networking products from an industry leader, our expanded portfolio will allow us to better serve the needs of today’s cloud service providers and virtualised data centres,” he added.
Avnet’s services offering include flexible financial solutions and pan-regional logistic services. QLogic specialises in high performance networking, delivering adapters, switches and ASICs to power data, storage and server networks.
