The portal, which is an integral part of AMD’s recently launched AMD Fusion Partner Programme, has been developed in Arabic to provide channel partners with concise information on AMD’s CPU, GPU and Chipset product portfolios and Vision technology from AMD. In addition to product information and training modules, channel partners have an audio commentary explaining benefits and product features of AMD’s architecture and technology. The modules are also available in English.
The AMD Fusion Partner Programme was launched in September 2009 to provide channel partners with tailored tools and resources to help support sales based on their unique business models.
By fusing its four existing partner programmes, AMD now gives partners customised incentives and resources to help accelerate sales – especially when selling all-AMD (AMD CPU, AMD GPU and AMD Chipset) solutions. The program was also designed for partners to receive more personalised tools, training and resources – both in person and online – that mesh with their specific business objectives.
“We recently launched our AMD Fusion Partner Programme, and this portal is one of the steps towards the consolidation of all our local and regional channel communications. It has been designed to allow our channel partners easy access to all the information that will help them understand AMD products better and therefore easier to communicate to customers,” said Dr. Gaith Kadir, GM of AMD META.
The portal has been designed by the local AMD team and integrates text, audio and video to allow easy and user-friendly navigation. The training sessions are set up in modules and partners can navigate the sessions at their own pace.

AMD has launched its first dedicated online training portal in Arabic for channel partners in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region. The portal aims to provide regional channel partners with the latest training tools and resources to enable them to guide and advise customers on AMD?s latest products and solutions.
