At the 37th edition of GITEX Technology Week, Arrow ECS was emphasising on its main two product sets – modern data centre and security solutions. The regional value-added distributor continued to highlight its association with Dell EMC within the modern data centre arena. Earlier in the year, the vendor had named Arrow as one of its key global distribution partners.
Vimal Kocher, managing director, Arrow ECS, says, “We sell most of Dell EMC’s products on the enterprise side. In our security portfolio, we have names such as RSA, Forcepoint, McAfee and Check Point.”
The managing director adds that the partnership with Dell EMC will help the firm to grow its business dramatically. “We will be working on Dell EMC’s hyperconverged and converged infrastructures, storage, software and services offering. This will give us a complete product range on the data centre offering. Going forward, our focus will be to enable our existing partner ecosystem and find new ones, especially in the Gulf countries. We are already conducting regular enablement events for resellers in these markets.”
In the evolving technology landscape, CIOs and other IT professionals are under immense pressure to reduce costs and optimise business processes.
Kocher adds, “The move to the digital era is compelling customers to have new kinds of requirements. Understanding the nuances of the market, we will be introducing many more solutions within our security portfolio in 2018. Currently, we are already in discussions with security vendors to complete and enhance our security portfolio.”
