CNME Editor Mark Forker spoke to Alain Penel, Regional Vice President, Middle East, at Fortinet to find out how they leveraged their expertise to help customers during the COVID-19 pandemic, the new threats in the cybersecurity ecosystem and what differentiates the company from its rivals.
Since this interview was conducted with Alain it was revealed that Fortinet is the No.1 security appliances vendor in 2019 in the UAE, with a 49.6% market share, based on vendor revenue according to a 2019 Q4 Worldwide Quarterly Security Appliance Tracker from IDC.
In addition to this, Fortinet was once again named as a Leader in the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Firewalls and WAN Edge Infrastructure.
