Exclusive Networks, a group specialising in value-added services and technologies (VAST), has announced a distribution agreement covering Europe and Middle East with Pure Storage, the all-flash storage platform. The vendor’s products will be added to Exclusive Networks’ security networking and infrastructure solutions portfolio and will enable companies to optimise the performance and availability of their applications, while retaining economic control over their infrastructure, said the firm.
Pure Storage has recently announced its next generation of FlashArray product line which delivers cost-effective all-NVMe Shared Accelerated Storage for every workload. Fully native NVMe, the new FlashArray//X family delivers 99.9999 percent availability, as well as non-disruptive hardware and software upgradability, with no performance loss or need for data migration, according to the firm. Furthermore, it natively includes compression, deduplication, encryption, synchronous replication and asynchronous replication. Coupled with Pure Storage’s Evergreen model, which is unique in the market, the solution is upgradable in terms of capacity, performance, density and equipment generation without losing initial investment.
Pure’s FlashBlade solution, which is dedicated to fast-growing unstructured data (files, objects, containers), covers most new and emerging workloads related to machine learning, analytics, IoT and Big Data. With the inclusion of this technology in its portfolio, Exclusive Networks believes it can provide a highly innovative and differentiated storage solution.
