Veronica Martin caught up with Vikas Panchal, Business Head Middle East at Tally Solutions, to discuss GITEX 2022 and the company’s plans for the region.
Can you tell our readers about some of the solutions and partnerships during GITEX this year?
We are a complete business solution as we offer a complete automation of financial management to small and medium companies. We deliver unmatched customer experience in sales, support and services, and also innovation and excellence in enterprise resource planning software.
In the last 12 months, how has your company performed in the MENA market?
We have a very strong presence in the Middle East and we are also present in Africa in countries such as Uganda and Somalia.
Which technologies and IT trends are the forefront of driving innovation for your business?
After the pandemic, people want work from anywhere, so we have introduced a couple of features to help businesses and people to get their reports online and enable then to work remotely.
What are the key messages you would like to communicate to people attending GITEX this year?
Our key theme is one for growth, which means we are trying to establish the importance of that one thing in your business which matters to you the most. There are so many factors that add up to your growth, such as one software that can take care of any kind of business requirement. Other software programmes can do that, but they charge you for every additional module. With us, you get all these modules when you buy the product license for the first time and that’s the biggest advantage.
The second key advantage with this one for growth is that you are buying the license. It’s a perpetual license, which means that you’re paying only once, but you are using the license for a lifetime. That’s something very rare in the software industry because usually you pay monthly or yearly.
Our belief is that if you’ve paid once for a multi-user license, no matter how many people you keep adding in the same premise, we will not charge you and that’s the beauty of the product. The last factor under one for growth are the compliance requirements. Within GCC there are many businesses who have presence in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman and they have multiple branches, and these countries have different compliance in place, so with us you can manage all of them with the same software.
Can you tell our readers what differentiates your company from your market rivals?
Our USP is that we have one software that you have to pay only once, and you can use the license for life. Every business requires incremental growth and implementation, but the problem with most of technology these days is that every time you look to implement something new, you end up spending a lot of money. With us, it’s a plugin play from day one. You get all those features and it’s up to you to decide when do you want to enable those features.
