CrowdStrike has announced it has been positioned by Gartner in the Leaders quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms.”
The report, which evaluates vendors based on completeness of vision and their ability to execute, positioned CrowdStrike furthest for completeness of vision in the entire Magic Quadrant.
According to Gartner’s “Forecast Analysis: Information Security and Risk Management, Worldwide, 4Q18 Update,” the worldwide EPP (enterprise) software market is expected to grow from $6.5 billion in 2019, to $7.5 billion by 2022.
“We believe CrowdStrike’s position in the Leaders quadrant validates that our cloud-native model empowers the delivery of endpoint security services at a pace and scale that meets the needs of modern, distributed businesses,” said George Kurtz, chief executive officer and co-founder of CrowdStrike.
“We started CrowdStrike from the ground up in the cloud to provide a radically new approach to security and solve the problems faced by modern businesses using fossilized, disparate solutions deemed ineffective in the cloud era. Our placement as furthest for completeness of vision confirms the value proposition that our platform approach and single-agent architecture offers our customers in stopping breaches, while also reducing complexity and security sprawl,” he added.
The CrowdStrike Falcon Platform is a scalable single-agent EPP platform that provides a sophisticated, yet easy user experience for the enterprise and stops cyber breaches.
It offers next-generation AV, endpoint detection and response (EDR), managed threat hunting, IT hygiene, threat intelligence and vulnerability management, all via a single lightweight agent that is rapidly deployable and delivers a seamless experience for security teams and end-users. Falcon’s cloud-based modular architecture promotes innovation and provides customers frictionless enablement of new features and functionality in a true platform experience.
CrowdStrike Falcon customers can prevent attacks on endpoints on or off the network with the power of crowdsourced data that delivers cloud-scale artificial intelligence (AI) with real-time protection and visibility across the enterprise, including at the firmware level.
The CrowdStrike Threat Graph enables the CrowdStrike Falcon to unlock the power of this data and correlate over two trillion endpoint-related events per week in real time from across the globe, fueling one of the world’s most advanced data platforms for security.
