Saudi Airlines has reportedly announced a new feature on board their flights, allowing passengers to send and receive WhatsApp messages.
According to reports, the feature is available on all their domestic flights as well as on specific international destinations including flights to Dubai, London, Manchester, Paris, Madrid, Washington, New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto.
The airline noted that the service is only available on aircraft that have Wi-Fi service and only text messages are allowed. WhatsApp will be available in Saudia’s fleet of B777-300, B787, A330-300 as well as the new generation A320 aircrafts.
Saudia Airlines made the announcement on their Facebook page, the service will be free and only available on aircrafts that have Wi-Fi service and only text messages are allowed.
