Acer has recently announced that it is reinforcing its ongoing commitment to strengthening its unique channel business model to help expand Tunisia’s growing IT industry.
In a partner meet held yesterday, Acer executives highlighted the crucial role its channel partners play in making Acer’s group products, widely available to valued customers and businesses across the country.
Acer’s product portfolio includes notebooks, netbooks, smartphones, tablets and desktops. The IT vendor also demonstrated its prowess by showcasing a complete solution for Tunisia’s robust education sector.
Education institutions across the country can benefit from Acer’s innovative products such as ultra books to improve learning tools and according to Acer, the company’s products are best fit for the country’s educational institutions and tech-savvy students, who respond to modern educational techniques.
The goal of Acer’s education project is to foster a new kind of interaction between teachers and students through the introduction and use of technology, Acer representatives said. Today’s students must have 21st century skills like creativity, problem solving, communication, and analytical thinking to compete in the global, increasingly digital marketplace, they added.
“Tunisian businesses and institutions are under pressure to have the right IT infrastructure as the country bids to be a major regional player. Acer has the right products and solution to help the country meet its IT needs. Acer offers continuous support and expertise backed by industry-leading products and solutions and with the help of our excellent partners, we are certain to be a great value prospect,” said Graham Braum, country manager, Africa and Levant, Acer Computers.
At the meet, senior Acer executives updated channel partners and distributors from across the country on new products, and the IT vendors 2012 channel strategy. Acer also had on display its London Olympic 2012 branded machines.
