In a recent development, Gulf Business Machines (GBM) has achieved both the Master Collaboration and the Master Security Specialisations from Cisco, the only Cisco partner across Gulf to be awarded these distinctions.

According to the company, this achievement reflects GBM’s upgraded capabilities for deploying complex IT security and collaboration solutions. With the highest level of technical expertise and service capabilities in various Cisco technologies and architectures, GBM is able to meet customers’ advanced IT needs.

Philippe Jarre, Chief Executive Officer, GBM and Hani Nofal, Director of Intelligent Network Solutions, GBM, were in attendance at the ceremony to receive the certification on the company’s behalf.

“As the network becomes the platform for driving communications and innovation, our customers are demanding an enhanced set of skills and capabilities from channel partners,” said Mike Weston, Vice President Middle East and Turkey, Cisco. “GBM’s investment in Master Unified Communications and Master Security Specializations ranks them among the industry’s elite.”

GBM has also achieved Cisco Customer Satisfaction Excellence status, one of the highest quality benchmarks for Cisco’s Partner Programme, and was recently awarded three distinctions at the recent Cisco Global Partner Summit, including the Partner of the Year Award in Middle East, Africa and Russia.

“Achieving Cisco Master Certification this year is another feather in GBM’s cap, as we continue to grow as an implementer of global best practices that address specific regional needs. GBM worked closely with Cisco as its regional partner for more than a decade and a half, maintaining an increasingly steady and positive relationship,” said Nofal.
