Cyberoam’s on-Cloud Management Service (CCMS) allows its partners to support Cyberoam customers effortlessly with an on-cloud tool, announced the company today. This service leaves partners with more time to focus on new business opportunities other than only servicing customers.
CCMS allows partners to manage hundreds of Cyberoam appliances for multiple customers from a single interface, anywhere and over any device, anytime, says the company. This eliminates dependence on office infrastructure to support customers, reducing support cost for partners and also improving their bottomline.
Surender Bishnoi, Cyberoam general manager for Middle East says, “Cyberoam’s on-Cloud Management Service is a unique service and will be a key differentiator from Cyberoam to the partner community. It will resolve many challenges that channel partners face today in supporting their customers in terms of cost, time, flexibility and speed of support. With the launch of CCMS in Australia, we expect not only the existing Cyberoam partners to benefit from it but also attract partners not associated with Cyberoam to join us and take advantage of this cloud-based tool.”
The company’s partners can have their own Security Operations Center (SOC) on the Cloud at zero investment, with a data center and a web portal to manage their customer appliances through this service. They get a ready-to-use, auto-scalable infrastructure as their business needs grow, along with automatic back-up of appliance configurations on the Cloud, which eliminates the need for manual back-ups and data storage in their local servers. Partners can offer real-time security management against zero-hour threats with centralised policy creation and implementation and take a proactive security approach for their customers’ networks. Integration of CCMS with the partner portal offers huge convenience to Cyberoam’s existing partners in managing and supporting their customers. CCMS also offers partners an opportunity to become MSSP and offer host of security services to customers.
Abhilash Sonwane, SVP-Product Management, Cyberoam, says “Easy infrastructure scalability along with the benefits of an on-cloud security management tool allows partners to grow their business to its true potential without getting discouraged by huge investment required for setting up their own SOC on cloud. The results of our beta release have been very encouraging and it has generated good amount of interest and traction from our existing partners for this on-cloud tool. Besides, CCMS also provides them an opportunity to offer managed services to customers at a fee and get into a recurring revenue model for their business.”
