Comguard recently teamed with HP to conduct a special training workshop for channel partners in Saudi Arabia.
The workshop was held on May 15, 2013 at Marriott Hotel, Al Ma’ather Street, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Comguard said that over 40 leading channel partners from across the Kingdom attended.
The aim was to educate, train and certify channel partners – at no extra cost – on HP Enterprise Security solutions, Comguard said.
HP Enterprise Security is a security-focused business unit that brings together HP ArcSight, HP Fortify and HP TippingPoint. HP claims that the unit combines “unparalleled” security research capabilities into a unified platform, the Security Intelligence and Risk Management Platform.
Experts from both Comguard and HP discussed the latest developments, updates and offerings, and provided technical training on Enterprise Security products and solutions specially tailored for partners in Saudi Arabia.
“This workshop on HP Enterprise Security solutions will go a long way in enabling channel partners in Saudi to upgrade their knowledge base and skills sets,” said Jayadevan K., Senior Vice President, Value Business, Comguard.
“The workshop helped partners discover how they can recognise opportunities to drive more revenue for their business. We also updated partners [on] how they can avail resources and trainings which are available to them as part of the HP PartnerOne programme.”
HP also updated its channel partners on the new version of its Business Service Management (BSM) software, HP Operational Analytics. The new software uses big data analytics to improve the performance and availability of business software across mobile and hybrid IT environments.
In June, HP and Comguard plan to conduct a similar workshop on Enterprise Security solutions in Doha, Qatar.
