Canon Middle East, a global vendor for imaging and business solutions provider, hosted its first seminar for IT resellers and system integrators in Doha at the Movenpick Hotel. The initiative is part of Canon’s ongoing strategy aimed at building relationships with its valued end-user customers. End-users who attended the seminar got a preview of Canon’s latest range of laser printers.
“This is the first in a series of end-user seminars that we will be conducting in Qatar. Our aim is to get the message across to our first customers that we are committed to engaging with them directly in order to deliver outstanding products and unrivalled service, ensuring that they get the most out of every Canon product they purchase,” said Hendrik Verbrugghe, Marketing Director, Canon Middle East.
“The laser multifunction printer colour category is a fiercely competitive segment and one in which we are currently witnessing significant growth and demand from respective end user segments. Taking this into account Canon has launched cutting edge colour MFPs in this segment,” said Bittu Mattam, Product Manager, Canon Middle East.
The demand for cost effective all in one office inkjet printers have significantly increased within the segment of home office users. To cater to this growing market, Canon Middle East has launched its all in one inkjet multi function model such as Pixma MX 420, in Qatar.
“The Canon end user seminar has provided us with valuable insight into the new Canon product line up and forthcoming strategies relating to the new products, development of Channels and marketing initiatives in Qatar. Our alliance with world class brand like Canon reaffirms our commitment to providing local consumers with access to leading technology and value added experiences at all Salam Studio outlets,” Shoukat Hussain Divisional Manger, Salam Studio & Stores.
The seminar was designed to further improve Canon’s relationship with Salam Group, its channel partner in Qatar.
