Suchit Kumar, DGM, sales MENA and CIS Central Asia at AOC, says he is delighted with the appointment of BDL and confident that the reach of BDL in Saudi market will provide AOC with the desired penetration and help it to prop up its market share in the region’s biggest IT market.
According to the CITC annual report, Saudi Arabia’s IT market is expected to achieve a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.4% over the next three years, with IT spending posting a 17% growth this year alone and reaching a total value of nearly US$10 billion by the year 2013. With such a unique placement of the Saudi market in the region, AOC is focusing heavily on this market and has also appointed a country manager who is based in Riyadh to support distributors, resellers and dealers across the Kingdom.
Tamer Ismail, CEO at BDL Saudi Arabia, says that, it is a pleasure to partner with AOC and this deal marks the beginning of a long-lasting relationship between BDL and AOC. “We are confident that our distribution channel and our after-sales support programme, as well as our advanced infrastructure will play a key role in achieving our goal of increasing AOC’s market share in KSA," he concludes.
Display panels vendor Art of Colours (AOC) has appointed BDL as its distributor in Saudi Arabia, a move the company says will boost its presence across the Kingdom. This tie-up will provide AOC with a perfect opportunity to enhance its already formidable presence in the Saudi market and raise its market share in the Kingdom’s growing IT market.
