Etisalat and Alcatel-Lucent have signed an agreement today at Mobile World Congress that will see the two companies develop and apply the latest networking technologies and design, build and run scalable, cost-effective customer care operations to enhance mobile broadband accessibility and improve digital customers’ experiences.
The agreement covers a wide scope of cooperation, with Alcatel-Lucent providing key IP and ultra-broadband access technologies, as well as customer experience solutions.
A signing ceremony was held at the Alcatel-Lucent stand at Mobile World Congress, and attended by senior executives including : Saleh Al-Abdooli, CEO of Etisalat UAE ; Haitham Abdulrazzak, Chief Technology Officer of Etisalat UAE,; Saeed Al Zarouni, Senior Vice President – Mobile Networks ; Esmaeel Alhammadi, Senior Vice President – Network Development; Michel Combes, CEO, Alcatel-Lucent; Willem Hendrickx, President, Alcatel-Lucent EMEA; Amr K. El-Leithy, President, Alcatel-Lucent Middle East, Africa, Turkey & Azerbaijan.
