“eKawader”, ITQAN’s in-house developed solution and employee self-service portal, has also been provided to SMD.
Manal Ataya, Director General of SMD, said: “Sharjah Museums Department manages more than 17 museums in Sharjah and employs around 500 employees. Our partnership with ITQAN highlights our commitment to continually develop and upgrade our internal processes, and by doing so we ensure that SMD provides more efficient and higher quality services for our visitors.”
“It is an honor to have this strategic partnership with Sharjah Museums Department. By integrating this highly advanced framework of solutions to its operations, SMD highlights its dedication to providing the highest quality of services. We assure our commitment to be SMD’s loyal technology partner consulting on the best IT practices, which in turn should generate a great return on investments,” said Feras Al-Jabi, ITQAN’s General Manager.
“Microsoft’s own ERP solution Dynamics GP was the perfect fit for SMD’s requirements, alongside Microsoft SharePoint, which will allow employees to communicate in a paperless, electronic manner. Integrated to all these solutions is an HR and payroll solution developed by ITQAN, known as eKawader. It is compliant with local labor and regulatory laws, allowing SMD to avoid any non-compliancy issues,” added Al-Jabi.
SMD’s IT Manager, Sofiane Benna said that ITQAN proposed a framework of solutions that would ultimately increase productivity by providing a more automated and independent mode of operations.
“Employees now self manage many administrative HR and Finance tasks though the employee self services portal, which provides 16 automated eServices such as leave request, purchase request, certificates, and change of personal information. Furthermore, with Dynamics GP, budget control and the purchasing process are now automated though a guided workflow,” added Benna.
Tamer El-Hamy, Microsoft Dynamics Business Solutions Manager, said: “ITQAN has been a long term strategic partner for Microsoft Dynamics. For many years, ITQAN has been helping customers and delivering superior value by automating their businesses using Microsoft technology, and it is of great pleasure to see this value reflecting on SMD’s operations. It is an honor to have SMD in Dynamics’ long list of references.”
