The Women in Technology Forum and Awards 2024 was hosted at the lavish Ritz Carlton JBR Dubai and honoured the exceptional achievements of women in the dynamic technology industry as hosted by CPI Media Group and tahawultech.com.
This year’s of the awards ceremony marked an extraordinary celebration of technological prowess and strides towards gender equality, aligning seamlessly with the 2024 global theme of International Women’s Day – ‘Count Her In: Accelerating Gender Equality Through Economic Empowerment.’ However the primary objective of this event extended beyond mere recognition; as it represents a concerted effort to enhance the visibility of women in the technology space while acknowledging their exceptional contributions.
The awards process involved the CNME editorial team evaluating the nominations from across the region in an in-depth process to honour women tech professionals who displayed excellence and vision in their career and brought about significant positive impact and change to the organisations they work for.

Under the title of Leading from the front: What factors influence good leadership the first panel featured insights from female thought-leaders across the IT landscape including, H.E. Salma Al Qubaisi from Salma Al Qubaisi Holding; Sandra Reivik from AIPowerment OÜ; Linoy Kidd from HSBC Middle East; Abeer Eladawy from DEWA; Afra Mohammad Almansoori from Digital Dubai; and Nezha Alaoui from Women Choice.
